In addition to the work she does with Joy Organics, Joy is also a speaker. This role has brought her around the world, where she gives hope to women everywhere she speaks. The next time you stop by her Fort Collins store, you’ll find products that support the local community and micro-enterprises around the world.

Joy is committed to using her resources to help those who need them. She continues to create programs with this goal in mind. Whether it’s giving free products to families who can’t afford them or giving a portion of her sales to deserving non-profits, Joy’s commitment to giving back is an integral part of her business.

Annual Joy Day

Joy Day is a celebration of our founder Joy Smith’s birthday — but that’s not all! Joy is passionate about helping others and using her platform to do so, which is why we aim to make Joy Day one of the most impactful days of the year. This year we offered our biggest discount ever to help our customers have access to our high-quality, THC-free CBD products. We also partnered with Greater Hope Project to provide meals to child refugees at Hope Primary School in Uganda.

Our first Joy Day was more successful than we could have imagined — thanks to the purchases made that day, we were able to provide over 200,000 meals to the children at Hope Primary School. The overwhelming amount of support has made us incredibly excited for future Joy Days to come. They won’t all be done the same way, but our mission to better the lives of others will never change.

In her role as business owner, Joy believes in showing respect to her employees, suppliers, customers and anyone else who comes in contact with her products. She also remains committed to safeguarding the environment by keeping Joy Organics a primarily green company.
